Brain Activity Alcohol Study

Ketamine Study

If you have tried ketamine or a psychedelic substance in the past such as, psilocybin (mushrooms), you may be eligible to enroll in a study investigating the effects of lowdose ketamine on the brain.

Brain Age Study

How does the brain change with age? Kernel is researching aging in the brain. See if you qualify to participate and you could receive $75 for a one-time visit.
Attention Study

This 13-week study includes a 1-2 hour weekly in-person visit where you will wear a Flow headset and complete attention tasks. At home you will be asked to complete multiple short questionnaires. Participants will be paid up to $700 for completing all study visits.
Emotion Study

The goal of the Kernel Emotion Study is to make the connection between music, media, and the emotions they elicit from the listener.

The study uses Kernel Flow, a portable headset equipped with high-tech sensors to record brain activity while playing a video game. One visit will take about one hour. Participation is unpaid but you will receive images of your brain activity while playing the video game.
